Team Future Roots Sky Dive - June 2025

Youth homelessness is a growing problem. Within Hertfordshire, the number of young people presenting to their local council as homeless has risen by 13% within the last year. 

To help young people achieve the social and financial stability and the necessary level of confidence and emotional maturity that they need to live independently, Herts Young Homeless created Future Roots - a 5 bed house in Welwyn Garden City. Future Roots creates a home to help young people, aged 18 to 24 years old, move from homelessness to independent living and in the last few years, it has been a real success story.

Along with two of the hyh team, three of the current housemates are braving a skydive to help raise money and awareness of youth homelessness and Herts Young Homeless.
